Gourmet Lettuce Wraps

Wow. look at me go :) 3 new posts today. I know alot of u
read my facebook post the other day, after tre and the catfood incident,
but for some of my friends, who dont love facebook, heres the story.
So Tre continually asks for snacks ALLLL morning long, after about the
4th, i said, "you've had enough now bud," so i continue on with
whatever needed to be done around the house, to later walking out
into the living room and see Tre munching down on Catfood!. seriously,
are u that hungary??? (wow im a bad mom, for not feeding this kid more!) lol
About 20 mins after i returned the catfood to it's place, i hear tre singing
a song, which sounded to be off in the distance, well i find him, singing
in the dryer, door closed and everything :)
Well as if the day wasnt great enough, we sit down for lunch, a healthy
lunch in deed for tre, spaghetti o's!! (while i TRY to continue on this diet
of 1200 calories a day!!!) Im rolling up tuna into lettuce wraps, to try to save
any calories i can, and tre grabs a piece of lettuce, dumps his spaghetti o's in the
lettuce, and continues to eat the wrap, as I am doing.
I LOVE THIS KID!
I guess when u don't have a huge property of woods, like we did growing up,
u need to be creative!

Stencil

So i know there will be alot of random things posted here in the beginning. hahaha
just wanted to throw a quick picture up of the latest stenciling project....
o a project that cased tendinitus, i might add :) but i love,
hope u do too. After countless hours of measuring and measuring some more, ITS done.
Ps...i wouldnt recommend stenciling a wall with a 2.5 and 1 yr old :)
let alone a textured wall!!! i didnt read that anywhere in the small print!
leave it to me!

So as most of you know, we just took a recent adventure to disney/huntington beach/hollywood,ca....(also known as Hollyworld to Tre.)
Even though, traveling with a 2 1/2 and 1 yr old, 7 hours in a car isnt easy, i would have called it a successful trip!!! Tre was in complete amazement!!
It was one of the cutest things ive ever seen. Since his recent obsession
is buzz/woody from toy story, what could be better than seeing them in
real life???? With the help of Pops (Rory's dad, Reese) we accomplished 2
days in disney, a trip up to Hollyworld, and some hanging out on the beaches of
Huntington Beach.
To this day, Tre continues to wake up from every nap/bedtime, in totally
awe!!! All he can think of, is the fact, that he met his "heros" along w
spiderman, superman, and batman, in Hollywood ;) We often pray for them every
night too! Here's some of my favorite pics.

Getting Started

Well, let's see if i can figure this whole "blog" thing out :)
With being 3000 miles away from close fam and friends, i decided
to put this blog together, for people to REALLY see what has been
going on in our lives. Everyday Tre and Maddie amaze me with
histerical quotes or actions that leave me speechless :)
